The heritage bus tour experience was fantastic, with great visuals of the city – we had booked a slot with guide who explains the history of most of the iconic buildings, cafes and restaurants of the city.
Living in the city for more than a decade, never had viewed Mumbai from it’s historic POV before + the timing was so perfect that we got to witness sunset at while at Marine Drive. A must have experience for every Mumbaikar!

The bus ride was very enjoyable, well conducted and explained. The bus was a bit smelly due to fish water being spilt on the upper deck, but that didn’t hinder us from having a good time. The explanation in English would have been better received as there were expats on the deck too.

It was 75th Indian Independence day. The perfect day to show my 10 year old daughter the real Patriotism spread over Mumbai. It will be a Life time memory for her. I guess this was the best gift I could give her through Nilambari bus. Har ghar Tiranaga theme was over the Mumbai. The guide was Knowledgeable and courteous with all of us. He shared many historical events, personalities and monuments with us. Entire tour was smooth and well organised. This night was delightful & thanks to Kalpesh who made it wonderful.

We booked a tour for 8:15-9:15pm slot and it feels so good to ride through the lanes of the town in an open deck bus while you’re receiving information about the historic buildings and structures! Amazing experience. An absolute fun time for all age groups. We had kids of 3 years, mid aged of about 35 years and senior citizens. Everyone of us enjoyed the 2 hours spent in the bus. Mumbai looks more beautiful on that upper deck ..

I am so glad I took this heritage bus tour today evening with my family. It is surprising how little we know about the city we live in. It is looking at our city with a new perspective. The history of amchi Mumbai is truly fascinating!
Our tour guide Farhan was informative and enthusiastic. The tour was without any glitches and I did not have any issues in buying my tickets. The cost is minimal.
I would definitely recommend this heritage bus ride for adults, youngsters and children.

I took my family with 2 kids for the open bus tour on 7th feb. The overall experience was very nice. The bus drove through the marine drive till worli sealink and back. The driver was excellent as he ensured to drive at a slow pace. The kids enjoyed and it was a very different outing for them. Must do with kids especially. Total value for money.

It was ana amazing experience watching our own Mumbai with a bird’s eye view. Guide on the bus was very cooperative and given really interesting facts about the old monuments and place nearby. It was pleasure opting for the bus.

The open bus ride was just too good. The seats were comfortable and railings are present, hence is very safe for kids. The host on the mic was very informative. This was a great experience for us.

We are a family of 14 and we decided to spend our last weekend of 2019 together in this open deck bus. We had an amazing time roaming in the streets of South Mumbai and getting to know the rich history of our city. The tour guide was very cooperative and gave us valuable information about various monuments around. The finally, we clicked many pictures and came back with memories to cherish for a lifetime. I would recommend a ride in Nilambari to everyone

We have been in the city for 10 years for now, was not aware of the major city’s history. So while entering into new year we decided to go on a Nilambari Bus ride in which we came to know about the major city’s history. It was such a comfortable 1 hour journey, we enjoyed each an every set of it. It’s really fun to view the city’s iconic monuments on this double decker bus. My kiddo and family had enjoyed, looking forward for such trips in future.

Open deck bus tour was a very good experience. The timing was just right and the information provided was also very useful and we learnt many things about old Bombay and new Mumbai. The guide Mr Sam was knowledgeable and made the tour interesting with the information and the Q&A.

The tour is a fantastic way to know more about mumbai n its heritage. The tour guide informed us about the history of the city that never sleeps.The buildings and monuments look beautiful even otherwise but gazing them from the open bus made it even more spectacular.Would happily recommend all to take out time from the malls to have this experience.

Firstly all the thanks to Kalpesh the ticket counter representative for his friendly behaviour and guiding in details about pick up and drop off points. I loved this bus concept a lot as I have seen open deck buses only in foreign countries…just one suggestion to increase the frequency of buses and make it at least for 2 hrs… Overall great experience for the Mumbaikar like me 🙂

I took this ride with a few kids and it was a great experience. All the kids loved the open deck and were excited about where next will we go. Mr. Kalpesh, the incharge, is an extremely helpful and friendly person. He is really very cooperative. Just one suggestion, the guide needs to be a bit louder. We could barely hear him. It was a really fun, enjoyable and educational! We have taken the bus tour twice now and enjoy it every time. The guide on the bus really provides you interesting stories about the old heritage of Mumbai and it’s very interesting.

I discovered this when googling for things to do with kids during vacation and what a find it has been! This bus is available on weekends 630 onwards outside the museum.You will have to check for the timings with Kalpesh on +91 98708 02643. He is extremely helpful. Now the experience was just awesome. Kids were thrilled to be taken around in an open air double decker, something they never knew existed 😀. I cannot miss mentioning the tour guide who was friendly and enthusiastically explained in brief the history of all the monuments and buildings. My kids want to go again and I would be recommending this to all my friends and family. An online ticket option would be great, just to avoid the disappointment of not getting one of the bus is full.
